Vijay reunited with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for his 67th film and the reunion of the ‘Master’ duo tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 67’ to launch the film officially.
The title of Vijay’s forthcoming movie starring Lokesh Kanagaraj, Thalapathy 67, has been announced through a promo video after much fanfare.
The most recent is that “Leo,” with the slogan “Bloody Sweet,” has been revealed as the title of the movie. On October 19, 2023, the movie will be released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.
Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Mathew Thomas, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Arjun Sarja, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, and Sandy all appear in the Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed film Leo.
Lokesh uploaded the promo and announced the title on Twitter. Vijay may be seen working in the video footage in what appears to be a factory that makes chocolate. He may be seen selecting coffee beans by hand, while on the opposite side of him, he can be seen creating a sword from nothing in preparation for an impending threat.
He pulls out the sword at the conclusion of the film and dips it in the brand-new chocolate ganache. Leo is displayed on the screen as he holds the sword. The video closes with a “bloody sweet” from Vijay.
Surprisingly, the trailer does not reveal whether the film is part of director Lokesh’s Cinematic Universe (LCU). Fans will have to wait a little longer for an official confirmation, despite the fact that the inclusion of Geroge Maryan from ‘Kaithi’ and Vasanthi from ‘Vikram’ in the cast suggests that the film may be part of LCU.
Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for the movie, which began shooting on January 2. According to reports, the crew is now filming in Kashmir for the second schedule. The cast list, which featured Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Sandy, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Mathew Thomas, and Arjun Sarja, was made public by the producers earlier this week. Leo also heralds Trisha and Vijay’s 14-year reunion. They have previously worked together on movies like Kuruvi (2005) and Ghilli (2004) (2008).
