Shahid Kapoor’s Farzi Movie Review, Cast, Story, Rating

Another winner from Raj DK is Farzi. However, by their self-aware & zany touch just makes for such an entertaining watch. I had hoped for more seamless action set pieces like Family Man.

While Vijay Sethupathi Kay Kay & Zakir are hilarious, Shahid Kapoor is modest and effective.

Shahid Kapoor starrer and Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru are the directors of the Hindi crime thriller film Farzi. Shahid Kapoor, Raashi Khanna, Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Regina Cassandra, Kay Kay Menon, Kubbra Sait, and a host of other actors who have played supporting roles can be seen in the Farzi movie. Under the auspices of D2R Films, Krishna DK and Sunil A Lulla produced the movie. On February 10, 2022, the Farzi movie will be released on Ott Platform (Amazon Prime).

Farzi Story

Shahid Kapoor in Farzi
Vijay Sethupathi in Farzi
Raashi Khanna in Farzi

Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru are the directors of the Hindi crime thriller film Farzi. Along with Regina Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Cassandra, Kay Kay Menon, Kubbra Sait, and many others, the film stars Shahid Kapoor, Raashi Khanna, and Vijay Sethupathi in the key roles. Under the auspices of D2R Films, Krishna DK and Sunil A Lulla produced the movie.

In the Farzi television series, the main character runs his grandfather’s newspaper while also creating art. He devises a distinctive con after being crucified. Later, he fully immerses himself in the task and learns a substantial amount of new information.

Acting

Sunny (Shahid Kapoor) is an intriguing man who has lived most of his life in South Bombay, close to the CSMT station, the city’s most recognisable landmark.

Perhaps because we have seen him in so many similar roles previously, the Hindi slang and accent appear to flow easy to him. He picked it up really easily. He does it with skill, giving you the impression that he is an artist, despite the fact that acting like an artist also requires a lot of talent.

Farzi marks Vijay Sethupathi’s Bollywood debut, and I don’t know whether I’m the only one, but his Hindi accent is just too endearing to put into words. Moreover, you don’t feel bad but rather enjoy it when he uses a profanity in Hindi. But he portrays himself as an undercover cop with a task squad working for him.

Acting Rating 3.5/5

Farzi Movie Review

An artist with a difficult upbringing hopes to succeed and amass a fortune that will allow him to fulfil all of his desires. He discovers his ability for generating false currency that is so authentic-looking that only cutting-edge technology can produce it. He is quickly drawn into a lethal syndicate’s net and becomes complicit in a major worldwide crime. It is the ascent of a wicked guy who burns with retaliation in his eyes.

When poverty strikes, it is difficult to distinguish between right and wrong. You do not distinguish between what is right and wrong. And that’s when most of your issues arise and your life becomes a misery! Well, that’s what Farzi is all about. It would be interesting to read the Shahid Kapoor starrer’s critique in just one word. The eight-episode series has a good balance of humour and is highly engrossing.

Raashi Khanna in Farzi

Megha, played by Raashi Khanna, is a rare example of a complex female character. Megha works for the RBI and is also obsessively motivated to stop counterfeiting. Farzi concentrates on the difficulties of being a single, working woman in a big city, needing to avoid parental shame for being alone, fighting to rent out a flat, and just being herself, in addition to her goals to halt the racket.

“Farzi” is now streaming on Prime Video; all eight episodes were screened for review.
