“Actor Kiara Advani led the trending People list in India, and also found a spot in the top trending global actors list,” Google said in a press release.
Batsman Shubman Gill is ranked second on the list of the most popular people in India, and New Zealand cricketer Rachin Ravindra, who is of Indian descent, is ranked third. Travis Head, Mohammed Shami, Glenn Maxwell, and Suryakumar Yadav are among the other cricket players who made the list.

In India, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer finished third. Adah Sharma’s The Kerala Story was sixth, Rajinikanth’s Jailer was seventh, Vijay’s Leo was eighth, Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 was ninth, and Vijay’s other film Varisu was tenth. Kesariya, Arijit Singh’s soulful melody, ranked second on the global list of most searched songs.
“In terms of cinema, Indian films weren’t far behind the Barbenheimer phenomenon, which attracted global attention. Jawan made a strong claim to be the #3 most popular film search worldwide and the top trending local film search. In addition, Gadar 2 and Pathaan achieved highly sought-after positions as regional and global blockbusters,” a statement from Google read.
