Story
The book “Bihar Diaries: The True Story of How Bihar’s Most Dangerous Criminal Was Caught” by Amit Lodha served as the inspiration for the plot. The first episode of the series explores the close relationship between crime and politics in the state of Bihar. Then Karan Tacker’s portrayal of IPS officer Amit Lodha is introduced to us. Amit Lodha gradually advances in his profession. At the same time, Chandan Mahto (Avinash Tiwary), who began as a nobody doing menial tasks, develops into a potent criminal who poses a serious threat to society. The remainder of the narrative describes how Chandan Mahto was apprehended by the police.

Neeraj Pandey created it (director of Special 26, A Wednesday, MS.Dhoni – A story untold, Aiyary, to name a few) The period covered by “Khakee: The Bihar Chapter” is 2000–2006 and is based on IPS officer Amit Lodha’s book, “Bihar Diaries: The True Story of How Bihar’s Most Dangerous Criminal was Caught.” Inspired on actual events, the show tracks the parallel travels of two characters: Chandan Mahto (Avinash Tiwary), a truck driver who transforms into one of the most feared gangsters in the state, and IPS officer Amit Lodha (Karan Tacker).
The authors, Pandey and Uma Shankar Singh, modified the names of historical persons and employed some theatrical licence to fill in the blanks. In the process, they have given a true story that arises from the confluence of caste and crime—the two pillars that characterise Bihar politics—a bit more depth. The first few episodes of the seven-part series give us a feel of the rhyme and rhythm of the state where abuse of power is common but where kids nevertheless have self-respect and aspiration in spite of poverty and lack of progress. There is a purpose behind why a Bihari child comes to refer to himself as “hum” (which is Hindi for “us”).
The USP of the show is its compact plot, clear script, and dialogue that will transport you to Bihar. The actors did a fantastic job with the dialogues, which are genuinely in the Bihari dialect even if they don’t seem to sound “Bhojpuri.”
Pintu Mahto – Biggest Gangster Of Bihar
Indian politician Pintu Mahto was once charged with a crime. [1] He was one of the two Ashok Mahto gang members who were charged with crimes in the 1990s and 2000s in the Bihar districts of Sheikhpura and Nawada. [2] He was charged with the 2005 murder of Rajo Singh, a former Sheikhpura MLA and MP, at the Rajo Singh Seva Sadan in Sheikhpura, however the court exonerated Mahto. [3] [4] [5] He is charged with the 2006 Manipur Massacre.

Amit Lodha captured Pintu in 2006 from a location close to the Satsang Colony in Deoghar, Jharkhand, where he was residing with his family. He received a life sentence from the court. Pintu is currently in Tihar Jail in New Delhi serving out his sentence, while one of his assistants has been granted bail.
